Urgent Help
If you are experiencing a crisis and require immediate support, please follow the following steps until you are safe:

1. Tell your friends or family. Share how you're feeling and what's on your mind with someone you trust, if you can ask them to come to you - physical presence can help but so do phone or video calls

2. Contact a crisis helpline. Talk through your crisis with trained individuals - if talking on the phone feels too daunting, try a text-based service. Examples of crisis services can be found on this page.

3. Go to your local Emergency Services. These include A&Es and Emergency Rooms - once you are there ask to be seen by the mental health team. They will keep you under observation until you feel a bit safer, and will be able to signpost you or refer you to appropriate mental health services for further support.
